Renovating a Camper Van // Our Mood Board
Last year Brett and I had plans to travel over to the UK, but due to the pandemic, as most of you know, those plans had to change! So we decided to invest the money into another adventure we had hoped to do — building out a camper van!
We bought our 2008 Mercedes Sprinter Van in January of 2021 and set plans to have it live in ready by June of 2021. Shortly after purchasing the van we listed our house on Airbnb for the summer! So since January, we have been working on finishing the renovations on our house and customizing our van. It’s now the beginning of June 2021 and now that our house is all ready for it’s first Airbnb guests, we are working hard on the van! I wanted to share my custom design board I created for this project as well as sharing some inspiration photos for the project!
Some design features we will have are the walls and ceiling will be light stained maple paneling, white cabinets, and we will have a bed that also coverts into a bench seat with a table in the center! Here’s some of our inspiration for it:
