OUR CAMPING TIPS + TRADITIONS
Kendra and I have been friends for over 10 years now, but we have also been friends with a larger group of people for about that long as well! We refer to ourselves as “The Crew”!
In our younger high school days we would see each other weekly, almost daily actually! But now that we are older and life gets a bit more scheduled and adult-like, we don’t see each other nearly as often. BUT we do see each other for two special occasions each year. We have an Ugly Sweater Crew Christmas party + an annual Crew Camping, which is what I’m here to talk about!
The camping trip started 4 years ago and we have consistently gone around the Fourth of July. This coming weekend we will be relaxing and enjoying each others company at the Porcupine Mountain State Park for this years! Would you guys like to see a blog post about it? Let us know in the comments below.

7 Essential Tips for Camping
Always check the dollar store before buying supplies you may need!
Always bring an air mattress or sleeping pad! It makes sleeping in a tent 10,000 times better!
Use frozen water bottles in your cooler to keep everything cool, longer!
Prepare your meals before hand. We love to make simple meals like chicken, veggies, and potatoes. Put them all into some tinfoil with oil and seasonings and just cook it over the fire. Simple and SO good.
Put a rug outside of your tent so that you can put your shoes on without stepping on the ground.
After roasting the marshmallow, clean your s'more stick with sand!
Bring a broom to sweep out your tent when you're done camping.
We hope all of you are having a great Fourth of July! Do you guys have any camping tips we didn't list??
