Little Girl's Room Refresh

I should say Big Girl’s Room Refresh because our Little Miss is becoming such a big girl! She is almost potty trained!!! Okay, not what this post is about, but still exciting non-the-less! Haha.

When we originally bought our house plans and started building in the late summer of 2021, we had no idea that this would eventually become her home too, but God knew! H moved in with us in just a few months later and now I couldn’t even imagine life without her in it! It’s like she’s always been a part of our family, and so I really wanted to make a space for her that was truly her own!

I keep the walls white just because….I love white—as we all know. But I wanted to add some texture to the space, so we hung this bead board wallpaper from Walmart! And I can’t lie and say it was easy to hang because Jason hung it and had some choice words while doing so. Haha but it turned out SO good and makes an impact, even while still being white! The art above the bed is actually an old poster paper from Grace + Gather, but I just thought it fit so well in here and loved the quote, so I ran with the floral theme and found pretty floral patterned bedding, floral art prints, and it just feels so perfect for the flower loving girl she is! The whole space just feels like cute, cottage-y, and charming which is exactly what I was imagining.
