Guest Bedroom Refresh on a Budget
In February I shared that we started working on our lower floor guest bedroom (here was my inspiration blog) and it is finally time to share the finished project! This room was one of my least favorite spaces in our home, but now I love it so much I wish it was our bedroom! haha.
The difficult part about deciding what to do in this room was the half concrete foundation walls. The lower floor of our house is technically a basement because it’s half underground. So the bottom half of the wall stuck out and felt awkward. I decided to give the walls character by adding thick vertical paneling so it feels like the walls were intentional. It worked!! Do you agree? Another reason this room has such a dramatic transformation is the beautiful vintage gallery wall I created — you can see all the details and links about it here!
