You could probably guess, food is an important part of our lives! Not just for the nutritional and life-sustaining reasons, but also for the social aspect! Food brings people together. We love going out to eat in the small and unique area we live in and wanted to share our favorite places!

Breakfast + Lunch Cafe
This cafe-style coffee shop is the perfect visiting spot! One of my go-to spots for meeting clients and get-togethers with friends. This is also where I stop to get my coffee when I’m out and about.

If you want to have a really nice sit-down dinner, this is the place to go!
They have a wide variety of things from the best sweet potato fries to the most mouth water prime rib!

This is the most popular restaurant in our area, if you visit and ask where you should eat, this most likely will be what people suggest! They are known for their tostada pizza and Bryana is a huge fan of their greek pizza!

Finnish-style Restaurant
Our town is filled with Finnish heritage and this breakfast and lunch spot is where you can experience some of it! You will always have great service and don't forget to try the nisu french toast!
Something to note: because this is such a popular breakfast spot, expect a wait on weekend mornings.

You have two options to experience the amazingness of Gemignani's. You can go here for a nice dinner with delicious pasta options or you can go for Sunday Brunch, which is our personal favorite! We often go here before church and it's the perfect start to the day. You should definitely try the strawberry crepes!

They pride themselves in always having fresh + natural ingredients and you can tell! Bryana's favorite meal is the turkey pesto sandwich and also, please promise us, if you go here, try the Chicago cookies! They have regular and gluten-free ones, you will not regret it! Bryana had them as the desert on her wedding day.

If you come here on a Friday or Saturday night, you can enjoy some local live music while you eat! Perfect place for a date night or a get together with friends. The style of this place is super industrial and unique for our little town! Barbecue
This is the one we are most excited to tell you about! This well-known restaurant sits on the Lake Superior shoreline. It’s a quaint dining room and bar area with a rustic decor vibe and the food is unbelievable! Bryana + Brett had them cater their wedding! This is a MUST GO, but make sure to get a reservation.

Such a good place to drop in and get a good bite to eat after a day spent in the Keweenaw. We love how casual the atmosphere is and how friendly the staff is as well!

This beautiful property has recently gone under new ownership and they have been doing such an amazing job. The location actually has a 9-hole golf course, lodging, rental halls, and a restaurant + bar! The staff could not be better and their food is so yummy! Brett suggests trying their burgers!
