5 Simple and Affordable Updates For Your Home
1. Paint. It’s truly amazing how the right paint color can completely transform everything from your walls and trim, to your light fixtures, tile floor, and doors. Always make sure to bring an array of paint swatches or samples home to test them in your space before committing to a color, but once you find the one(s), paint, paint, paint away!
2. New wall plates, outlets, and light switches. Updating these from the dingy almond colored plates to bright white makes a HUGE difference! You don’t have to do them all at once, one room at a time will make such an impact.
3. New hardware on cabinets, doors, etc. Changing out your hardware is such a simple fix! Also, if you have something like a dresser that you're starting to get bored of, change the hardware! You will be so surprised at the difference it makes.
4. Light fixtures & lamps. If you don't love your current light fixtures enough to paint them, updating them can be very affordable too! Also, adding lamps in any area of your home can help it feel more cozy! We LOVE added light.
5. New house numbers. This is something that is on both of our to-do lists, the most simple thing to update the outside of your home and you can get creative with it! Here are some metal numbers that I found that are super affordable: Metal House Numbers
