Simple Fudge Recipe | Wendy's Fudge
Every Christmas, my mom makes this delicious fudge! So good that when my sister and I were young, we would get upset if we didn’t get the last piece! haha. Once I got married, naturally, I wanted to start making these special family recipes myself. I was preparing for a difficult and long process to make this fudge, because honestly fudge is intimidating! But to my surprise, it’s actually super simple and takes very little time to make! Seriously, there are only THREE ingredients.. yes, three! Also, if you’re a fan of peanut butter, this is definitely the fudge for you.
Here is how to make this lovely treat that you can share at a party, give as a gift, or just make for at home.
Wendy’s Fudge Recipe
Ingredients:
16oz of Old Fashioned Vanilla Creme Drops (2 bags)
4TB of butter (half a stick)
1/2 cup of peanut butter ( you can add more if you’re realllly into peanut butter)
Instructions:
Line a 9x9-inch pan with parchment paper.
Place old fashioned vanilla creme drops, peanut butter, and butter into a microwave safe bowl and microwave for 1 minute, stir, and continue at 30 second increments until the mix is completely melted. (Just make sure the inside of the creme drops are melted.)
Spread mixture into prepared pan. Refrigerate until firm!
Cut up and enjoy!
The most crucial part to making this fudge is finding these exact Creme Drops, which honestly is always hard! I shared a photo of what they look like below. I have found them in our local Walmart, but many times I look for them, they are sold out. So you can also buy them on Amazon!
That’s it!! That simple! I always make a double batch one just isn’t enough, especially when you want everyone to try it!
Do you have a favorite family recipe you make every single year around Christmas? What is it? -B
